An Indonesian woman recounts her terrifying story of survival after the 2004 tsunami destroyed her home and taking the lives of her children and husband in Banda Ache, Indonesia. The devastation swept across the Indian Ocean killing over 230,000 people and left millions homeless throughout Asia. The boat sitting on the neighbor’s home became a refuge for dozens of people that clung to it avoiding being swept out to sea when the ocean receded.
